Our missions

CTIF is a French research and development centre, specialized in metal casting. At the very heart of the metal conversion process, it constantly strives to develop and strengthen the links between applied research and manufacturers.

Its aim is to promote the development of castings in all manufacturing fields.

Its know-how is built around two priorities:

Optimization of the in-service behaviour of components produced from castings,
Improvement of foundry processes in the context of sustainable development.

On the basis of these two priorities, it brings together foundries, users and designers through innovative actions.

CTIF and its staff of around 130 employees aim at meeting the requirements of manufacturers through its various activities and contributing to the competitiveness of the companies for which it works.
