Our missions

CTIF is a French research and development establishment, specialised in metal casting. At the very heart of the metal conversion process, it is constantly striving to establish the link between applied research and the industrial world.

Its objectives are to promote the development of castings in all industrial fields.

Its know-how is built around two powerful themes:

Optimisation of the in-service behaviour of components produced from castings,
Improvement of foundry processes in the context of sustainable development.

On the basis of these two themes, it brings together foundries, users and designers through innovative actions.

Organised around activities aimed at satisfying the needs of industry, CTIF and its 130 employees are entirely devoted to contributing towards the development of the competitiveness of the companies for whom they operate.
