Our organization

Set up in 1946, CTIF became an industrial Technical Centre (CTI) by the law passed on the 22 th July of 1948.
 
Its board of directors consists of 17 members including company managers: foundries, end-users, universities or scientific key figures, as well as technical  staff representatives of the profession appointed by decree by the French Ministry of Economy, Industry and Employment.

 
Its general manager, Philippe Malle, together with the Management committee and an advisory Technical and Scientific Committee made up of manufacturers and university dons, take part in its management.

 
CTIF is subsidized up to 70 % by the French Ministry of Economy, Industry and Employment to fulfil its mission and produces 30 % of its own operating resources by selling services.
