If you wish to size, or optimise your casting systems, improve the quality of your parts, CTIF can calculate and digitise your feeder and filling systems in accordance with experimental and fundamental rules. The sizing of such systems is nowadays performed using proprietary software packages:

AMACTIF: for calculating feeder systems for sand and die casting
ELISA: for calculating the filling system
SYSTAVER: for vertical casting
SALSA: for calculating the filling system for pressure die casting

Proprietary software packages

The feeding system is intended to allow for the volumetric shrinkage of the alloy, and thus to supply hot metal to the last solidification zones of the part. The filling system is intended to fill the die, without affecting the casting materials, the geometry or the final quality of the part.
